Experts against odors, biogenic corrosion and infiltration water in sewage systems.
Climatic, demographic and economic changes raise new challenges for decision makers in water management, especially in sewage systems. Municipal and industrial water usage is going back, temperatures are rising and wastewater ingredients are changing showing weak spots and new requirements to sewage technology.
At the same time Rethinking takes place – scientists speak of a paradigm shift. New innovative solutions that take these changes into account are being looked for. Existing approaches are being rediscussed among experts. Not relevant is that the solutions come from different economic areas since they are more and more interdisciplinary. The important thing is, that they are effective and economic as well as environmental friendly at the same time.
This goes for the creation of the General municipal drainage plan and sewage concept, new planning of systems and optimization of existing systems (e.g. refurbishment and optimization of existing systems).
